#1 (Morning)
This morning I got up early (even before my alarm!) and went for a walk on the beach of Santa Monica. It was amazing!! The weather was beautiful and there was so much activity....runners, bikers, rollerbladers, you name it, I saw it! I think the most interesting sight was a woman roller blading with oven mitts on her hands . . . couldn't quite figure that one out! Of course I had to dip my feet in the Pacific . . . I just couldn't resist it. It was cold, but I survived! I spent some time on the beach praying for the upcoming week and just asking God to make me into the person He wants me to be. Someone who first and foremost loves Him, then loves others, and who loves herself more. I think the last one is the hardest for me sometimes. That's one of the reasons I needed this trip.
